Økokasjrút er læra om kva mat som er lovlig og etisk å eta ut frå både halakhá og ut frå eit breidare hensyn til økologi og berekraftig utvikling. Uttrykket økokasjrút vart først teke i bruk av Renewal-rabbinaren Zalman Schachter-Shalomi.
